Strategy:

This unusual Ninja deck placed third at a recent open tournament in my area, but captured the attention of the entire crowd. With absolutely no personalities and the Yoritomo sensei, this deck screams through its gold and quickly begins dishonoring its opponent while gaining honor for itself. The events factor in heavily, tying up your opponent's resources and denying their ability to attack. The fate actions which bow personalities are used when the opponent reaches 10 chi, hopefully to be followed by Unrequited love/Shame/Test of Honor/Kolat Assassin. Assassin is the easiest way to take care of high-chi personalities, while Command of the Kami, Shame, and Breach of Etiquette should shut down personality production for most honorable clans.

A secondary theme is gold attack, by increasing your opponent's personalities' gold cost with Price of War/Firebird Falls (not in this version), and backed up with Explosives (primarily for honor-gaining holdings but also useful to punish in the early game). This deck has many subtleties and requires a lot of skill to play, and while it seems noninteractive, it is a profoundly interesting creation to witness in action.
